Palmetto Center for Advocacy

Our mission is to improve the day-to-day life of South Carolinians. Through partnerships with state agencies, other non-profits, universities and schools, businesses, faith-based organizations and community groups, we hope to help South Carolinians improve their health and quality of life.

Palmetto Center for Advocacy, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of South Carolinians.  Through public education and advocacy regarding important health issues such as obesity, we hope to encourage South Carolinians to adopt healthy lifestyle habits, including eating healthier meals and increasing their physical activity.  By reducing the impact of obesity on our state, we can also reduce the impact of obesity-related diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
